I bought these in the ice color in my usual size, 8.5. The leather is really nice and soft and the color is more of a nude/beige. I really like the look of the sandal but I'm a little concerned about the toe area as it is rather narrow. I think these might even run a tad small as my toes were nearly hanging over. It might be worth it to go up a half size in this style. The strap actually sits right over the top of my big toe and I can see where it might start to rub or dig into my skin. I haven't noticed any problems with the ankle strap. The insole is padded, but it does feel like you are walking in wooden clogs as there is no flexibility in the sole. I'm going to wear them around the house a bit before I decide whether or not to return them. It's disappointing though because they are so cute online and I got them for a great price.
