If there is gel on the skin , please clean it before curing.We can not have the polish attached to skin or cuticle otherwise it will be easy to peel off. Make sure they are dry and clean,the thinner, the better, or it will get the gel shrunk and peeled off. Be Yours Own Manicurist Tips： Please nate that the effect of transparent jelly gel may vary based on ambient light,skin or nail base color,layers applied,etc. More layers you apply,the more solid and darker color you get. Too Thick? Applying every thin coat is the key , make sure the brush don't have too much on it before starting the strokes. Not dry? Please check the wattage of your lamp. Are you only curing for 30 seconds? We suggest: Base coat cured for 30 secs. Gel polish each coat - 60 secs. Top coat - 60 secs. Wipe with alcohol cotton ball. Tips to avoid chipping 1. Apparently this was the only picture I took before removing it, hah. The color is brighter than I had hoped based on the listing images, but it is still a fine color. I can't compare it to other polish because this is the first time I've tried gel, but it seemed to apply easily. I used Gellish base/top and it lasted really nicely for 2 weeks (and I'm super hard on my nails working in a metalsmith studio).The main drawback is that it's fairly sheer. I applied 3 coats and it was still a bit transparent, but I was tired and didn't add more. It took me so long to apply each coat trying not to get any on my cuticles or finger tips, that having to apply extra coats to be more opaque is not ideal.The white is solid and not sheer. I had slight trouble with the base gel but I figured it out. Overall, pretty good. I will buy againIts a very beautiful green. A true green nice and darkI was using Beetles for the longest time and you could peel it off and it would start chipping off. This stuff is better and lasts longer than other brands! Beetles can't compare. You have to work at it to get it off even after 2-3 weeksThis stuff is true to its colour and very durable if you read the instructions and prep your nail properly/use alcohol then it will not peel but it will peal if you do not read the instructions properlyThe color is pretty but the shade isn't as dark as the picture on here. So I was a little disappointed, but it's still a nice color, perfect for fall!This gel is thick but sorta seperates when applied. I would recommend for those on a budgetI really love the color even though it was not as dark or wine colored as the picture.
